Since its inception in 1987, AIMS Campus has embarked on a remarkable journey that spans over three decades. Founded by the visionary Dr. Kithsiri Manchanayakke as a small sole proprietorship business, AIMS Campus began as a humble endeavor, specializing in IT education and software development. Little did we know then that our dedication to quality education and unwavering commitment to growth would lead us to become a pioneering institution in Sri Lanka’s higher education landscape.
Our journey commenced with a profound religious opening ceremony on May 1st, 1987, followed by an equally momentous ceremonial opening on May 3rd, 1987. These auspicious beginnings laid the foundation for our enduring legacy of excellence.

Since its inception in 1987, AIMS Campus has embarked on a remarkable journey that spans over three decades. Founded by the visionary Dr. Kithsiri Manchanayakke as a small sole proprietorship business, AIMS Campus began as a humble endeavor, specializing in IT education and software development. Little did we know then that our dedication to quality education and unwavering commitment to growth would lead us to become a pioneering institution in Sri Lanka’s higher education landscape.

In 1991, we took a significant step forward by incorporating as AIMS Computer International (Pvt.) Ltd., a move that allowed us to expand our operations to a larger facility to meet the growing demand for our services. As we continued to evolve, we celebrated our 10th anniversary in 1997, marking a decade of dedication to knowledge and innovation.

In 1991, we took a significant step forward by incorporating as AIMS Computer International (Pvt.) Ltd., a move that allowed us to expand our operations to a larger facility to meet the growing demand for our services. As we continued to evolve, we celebrated our 10th anniversary in 1997, marking a decade of dedication to knowledge and innovation.

In 1999, recognizing the need to streamline our operations, we separated our Software Development Division from our Education and Training Division. This led to the creation of “AIMS Education Services (Pvt) Ltd.,” a focused entity dedicated to shaping the future through education. Additionally, we established a fruitful joint venture with Gateway Computer Services, opening doors to new opportunities and collaborations.

Ltd.” in 2002, complete with a fresh logo exclusively designed for our higher education endeavors. Through this initiative, we forged partnerships with prestigious institutions such as Preston University USA and International American University USA, solidifying our reputation as a trusted institution for academic excellence.

Our commitment to providing higher education opportunities culminated in the establishment of “AIMS College of Business and IT (Pvt.) Ltd.” in 2002, complete with a fresh logo exclusively designed for our higher education endeavors.
